Florida Marine Tanks is the proud recipient of two US patents:
US Patent 8,807,160 FUEL TANK WITH INTERNAL FUEL SHUTOFF SYSTEM.
US Patent 8,807,162 FUEL TANK WITH AN INTERNAL EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM.
Florida Marine Tanks systems comply with all EPA regulations on and are completely internal. Other fuel systems have vents, valves and fittings outside the tank. To meet ABYC regulations, the components must be accessible. Often this requires boat builders to alter deck configurations to allow for access and inspection.
Florida Marine Tanks internal system does not require additional access points.
