Waste & Water Tanks
Florida Marine Tanks manufactures plastic water and waste tanks in our Cookeville, TN facility. The tanks are rotationally molded of durable, seamless, one-piece, non-corrosive linear polyethylene (LLDPE) and meet the FDA regulation 21 CFR177.1520 and all US Coast Guard regulations. Water and waste tanks are used on all boats, RVs, campers, along with industrial and agricultural equipment.
Water Tank
FMT water tanks can be used for the storage of any potable or freshwater requirements. Virgin LLDPE is used in .200″+ wall thickness. Standard fittings can include (2) ½” plastic thru-hull fitting for supply & vent and (1) 1-½” fitting for a fill.
Waste Tank
FMT waste tanks can be used for any grey or black water holding requirements. Virgin and regrind LLDPE is used in .300″+ wall thickness. Standard fittings can include (1) ½” plastic fitting for a vent and (2) 2″ fittings for fills and cleanouts.
Features and Benefits

- Tanks are featured with female National Pipe Threads (NPT) which can be located to customer specifications as needed.
- Spin-weld fittings on LLDPE permit relocation of fittings with no additional tooling costs.
- Crosslink polyethylene (XLPE) is an option for larger water tanks or more complex geometry ballast tanks.
- All waste and water tanks should be pressure tested for leaks before permanent installation.
- All waste and water tanks should be installed with flexible hose connectors, not rigid or hard pipe.
- Tanks available in white, black, or gray resin.
